Services:
The Islamic Association of Tarrant County (IATC) is a non-profit organization of Muslims dedicated to worship, education and services in the Tarrant County area. We provide numerous services to the community. IATC currently provides the following services:
Prayer Services
- Five daily prayers at posted time
- Juma’a Prayers every Friday at 1.30 p.m. (fixed time)
- Taraweeh prayers, Eid prayers, and Janaza (Funeral) prayers
- You can view and print whole year's Prayer Schedule.
Burial Services
- Ghusl (washing) facility at the masjid for the deceased
- Ar-Rawdah Muslim Cemetery: A full service Muslim Cemetery supervised by a dedicated Burial Committee.
Educational Services
- Adult Islamic Education Program every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Includes
Islamic video session, lectures by guest speakers and talk by Imam, all in English)
- Texas School of Islamic Studies, a week-end Islamic school from Grades 1 – 8. Classes
are held each Sunday from 9:50 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Halaqa(group discussion) for men and women
- Dawah program for new and non-Muslims
- Library facility in the masjid
Activities
- Family Dinner First Friday every month in the evening
- Ramadan Program: Taraweeh prayer and Iftar dinner every Saturday
- Speakers for churches, prisons, schools, universities, and other institutions
- Basketball playground for youth
Social Services
- Marriage (Nikah) certificate & Divorce certificate
- Family counseling, arbitration for religious disputes and family disputes
- Islamic will
- Hospital visits for ill Muslims
- Youth Committees
- Women’s committee
- Distribution of Zakah and Fitrah
